Detroit Muscle SeaFoam 1969 Camaro Chassis and Brakes Combos

Detroit Muscle’s Tommy Boshers and Marc Christ took a perfectly good 1969 Camaro SS/RS, made it better, then gave it away to some lucky viewer.

The Camaro’s 51-year-old chassis got a huge makeover. Up front is a Heidts Pro-G front suspension package complete with a new subframe, coilover shocks, tubular control arms, and 2 in. drop spindles. The Detroit Muscle SeaFoam 1969 Camaro chassis and brakes combo also has power rack and pinion steering, which drops 80 lbs. off the front-end of the car and makes more room for long tube headers.

Out back is a Heidts Pro-G four-link kit with coilover shocks and a panhard bar. Wilwood disc brakes sit on all four corners, as do Continental ExtremeContact DSW06 Plus tires on 18 and 20 in. Weld Racing RTS S-71 wheels.
