Generac designs and manufactures the Protector Series 80kW Standby Generator in Wisconsin. Trained, knowledgeable staff at the Customer Care center near the Milwaukee headquarters answer questions 24 hours a day, seven days a week, 365 days a year.

Made in the USA—The RG08045ANAX with a turbo-charged and aftercooled inline 4-cylinder 4.5-liter engine was designed and built in USA facilities located in Wisconsin. The engine features hydraulic lifters and a gear-driven oil pump for full-pressure lubrication. The Generac engine provides peak efficiency through all temperature ranges and elevations. The generator is configured at the factory to run on natural gas and converts easily to LP Propane in the field.

Utility-Grade Power—True Power Technology means safe for sensitive electronics. 80 kW of generator power for appliances, lights, heavy duty motors on air conditioners and refrigeration equipment—all at the same time. Isochronous Frequency regulation within 0.25% and Automatic digital voltage regulation (AVR) to 1%. Less than 5% THD (total harmonic distortion.)
