The OTEC 240V 225A Single Phase Automatic Transfer Switch features PowerCommand 40 Control, a microprocessor-based controller with LCD Display, and a comprehensive list of functions. Cummins OTEC A066Y119 Open Transition transfer switches are a perfect fit for a wide range of commercial and light industrial transfer switch applications.

This 240V 225A Cummins Transfer Switch provides the basic hardware and features required for automatic operation of a standby generator.

Cummins 240-Volt Transfer Switch Control

PowerCommand 40 is a microprocessor controller with LCD digital display, a full list of functions, and tactile soft switches for straightforward operation and navigation. Highlighted controls include PC software configuration with sensing on both sources; manual restore to S1; synchronization check; and event logging. The S-6560 Specification Sheet includes all the benefits and features.

With a programmed transition, switch timing allows the Cummins ATS to disconnect the load from both sources for a programmed time period—especially important for large inductive loads.

Cummins 225 Amp ATS Advanced Mechanism

The ATS mechanism operates electrically with a mechanical hold in the Source 1 and Source 2 positions. Cummins OTEC 240-Volt 225-Amp Automatic Transfer Switch Series switches perform a break-before-make action while electrical interlocks prevent interconnection of the normal and emergency signals. High pressure silver alloy contacts resist burning or pitting; arcing surfaces protect the main contacts. Multiple leaf chutes cool and quench arcs, further protecting the contacts. A protective cover allows inspection while preventing accidental contact with energized surfaces.

UL-1008 certification including the contact assemblies covers applications requiring high endurance switching capability for the life of the ATS. This ATS is rated for use as Service Entrance Equipment.
