RVMP Flex Power 5500 Watt Dual Fuel Inverter RV Generator | 5500i

50 dB Sound at 10 Feet           Gasoline: 5500 Watts              Propane: 5500 Watts              THD =< 3%  Weight: 161 Lbs

Regulatory Approvals: RVIA, EPA, CARB, CSA, and USDA

The RVMP Flex Power 5500 Watt RV Generator belongs to the newest generation of RV generators designed for permanent installation. The dual fuel inverter generator is exceptionally quiet with a fuel efficient 302 cc variable speed engine controlled by a digital governor. Run RV appliances directly or recharge the battery bank for extended off grid boondocking. The dual fuel capability adds more flexibility by changing fuels with the flip of a switch. Powerful enough to start and run TWO 15000 BTU rooftop AC units with an RV baseload of 1000 Watts.

Change between gasoline and propane with the flip of a switch.

Flex Power 5500 Watt Generator

Remote or Pushbutton Electric Start

Reliable power couldn’t be more important to an RV owner—it runs the pumps that provide water, keeps the RV comfortable, and the fridge and other appliances running. Off grid, away from RV parks, reliable generator power is even more important. The Flex Power 5500i includes an innovative feature for reliable starts. Instead of a traditional starter, the AC generator turns the engine to start it.

Fewer Moving Parts Lowers Weight and Reduces Repairs

Lighter than traditional generators of the same class by up to 127 pounds, the 5500i weighs just 161 pounds. Safer and more compact, it easily fits into generator compartments or storage spaces.

5500 Watt Onboard RV Generator

Clean Safe Efficient Inverter Power

A rectifier converts variable frequency three-phase current from the alternator to DC which the inverter converts into 120-Volt AC at 60 Hertz. The engine only has to run fast enough to provide the power required. If the RV requires more or less power, the digital governor speeds up or slows down the engine. The results is the cleanest, most stable power available in an RV generator and safe for the most sensitive electronics with just 3% Total Harmonic Distortion compared to 17 percent for competing models.

The 5500 watt Flex Power 5500i RV Generator has a completely new exhaust and cooling system design that keeps the generator quiet while providing maximum cooling.

Rated for an ambient temperature up to 118°F or 48°C.
