Finish Line Speed Shop MC10 1975 Chevy C10 Engine Combos

Lyon McClenahan of Finish Line Speed Shop has a tradition of building vehicles in honor of very special people. One of those vehicles is this 1975 Chevy C10 pickup, built in honor of Lyon’s friend and car builder Mark Cain, who lost a battle with ALS—aka Lou Gehrig’s disease. The MC10 (Mark Cain 10) was displayed at the 2016 SEMA Show, then auctioned off on EBay Motors, with the proceeds going to the Strike Out ALS Foundation.

A Chevrolet Performance Camaro oil pan and Hedman LS swap headers were used to fit the 5.3L LS in the C10’s engine bay. Lyon fabbed a cold air intake system using an Airaid U-Build It kit. A Painless Performance wiring harness and reflashed ECU controls the factory EFI system.
